Vomiting and diarrhoea occur within fifteen minutes of consumption. Also, because the seeds have a pleasant taste, there is a possibility of a greater effect on the health of children, "Srinivas warned about the evergreen tropical plant with thin stems.Thirteen members of Banjara (nomadic) community who were hospitalised at Kollegal taluk hospital in Chamarajanagar were released in a day.
